It happened on March 16...a day-long immersion event for developers to jump into the Ribbit ecosystem and gain a hands-on understanding of our developer community, our API and the business opportunity in the Ribbit Store.
A sold out crowd realized a full day of interaction with industry experts, developers, entrepreneurs and the Ribbit team. We started with a streamlined crash course on Flex, with Adobe's Ted Patrick. Next we moved into the A to Z's of the Ribbit API, diving deep into each method and object. This was followed up with a much anticipated Code Solutions session presented by one of our developers. Then the round of presentations came full circle when the Ribbit team shared the many money making opportunities associated with the Ribbit platform.
Armed with a wealth of tools, insights and ideas, the crowd starting coding. Ribbit's engineering team worked the room, helping those who needed it and even developing on their own. The creations of the day were shared including a very impressive Yahoo! Maps - Ribbit mashup and the success of all was celebrated as the day transitioned into the social hour, complete with a well stocked bar.
