The Revoicerator
Developed in-house at Ribbit, The Revoicerator makes use of Ribbit's audio blogging capabilities. Think of voice posts as audio messages you can tack to your Website's refrigerator door. Visitors can call to leave their own voice posts, and read transcriptions of other visitors' posts. The possibilities for creating new, interactive experiences are endless.
The Revoicerator integrates simple, standards-based code such as Javascript, HTML, and CSS with Ribbit's RESTful API to create a Flash-like "call wall." Audio comments are displayed using voice-to-text transcription technology, and can also be indexed, archived and searched. Voice-enabled voting, product reviews, virtual guest books, and group broadcasts are just some of the uses we've thought of for this fun app.

Video Caller ID
Created by Ribbit Evangelist Chuck Freedman, Video Caller ID showcases the Ribbit Flash API's ability to receive notification events "pushed" from the server to the application. When a user receives an incoming call, Ribbit notifies the application with an event for which the application passively "listens." A caller ID number can be easily extracted from this event, and creatively displayed.
