Get Your Spawn On: Ribbit Announces Developer Event
On November 5th, Ribbit will be hosting a developer event in San Francisco where we will provide a whole new way for developers to mash-up real-time communications with their applications. We lovingly call these things 'Spawn'.
We’re are chest deep in our RESTful API beta, and we’re looking for early adopters like you! Learn how you can enrich your applications with communications capabilities — and take productivity to a whole new level. Come and explore how easy it is to develop with Ribbit in the language of your choice, and add real-time communications into your applications.
Why do we call these events Spawn? You could go the comic book route playing good versus evil as Ribbit believes in open APIs versus closed APIs, all languages versus one, communciations versus just making calls. Or, we could keep it simple and say someone in marketing found a word that played off 'ribbit'. I vote for the former as it sounds cooler. Ha.
If you are interested in communciations, and you would like to take a deep dive into Ribbit's API, sign up now! We have a pretty good day planned with educational tracks in the morning, afternoon/evening of coding and yes my friends...there will be cocktails as we know everyone codes better with a little beer in their belly.
Space is limited, so if you would like to come, please register by Oct. 23. If you cannot attend in person, please join us via webcast. Register here <for the webcast only>. Hope to see you there! Photo credit. Starstore.com
